BUILDING A BRIGHTER SALSA FUTURE
Welcome! At Latin Spice, we are committed to teaching salsa classes in a structured manner.
We are gearing up your muscle memory to be able to pick-up new material quickly and dance smoothly! Also, did we mention it's going to be fun?
Our mission? create a HUGE community!
Latin Spice teaches cross body salsa on1 (LA style) in 8, 10 and 12-week courses that have a structured program
At the start of every class we repeat the previous weeks' turn patterns before continuing to new material; at the end of the course your muscle memory would have picked up everything
It’s important to attend as many classes as possible as every class will introduce new material.
The classes follow the teaching syllabus designed by Dance Legend Fernando Sosa of Tropical Gem and the Sosa Academy.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?
This season we are located in Dance Ireland's venue. Address: Liberty Corner, Foley Street, Mountjoy, Dublin 1.
DO YOU DO DROP-IN CLASSES?
At the moment we do not, because our classes are based on a structure from A to Z and in order to guarantee quality, we can only offer courses. We will however, start teaching advanced classes on a drop-in basis. Stay tuned!
WHAT WILL I LEARN AND CAN I MISS A CLASS?
It all starts with the basic steps and technique (leading, following, spin, weight positioning) and then we move on to the turn patters. Depending on the speed of the class we can cover more ground!
Yes you can miss a class (However we advise you do not)! The course is actually 10 weeks, we offer 2 weeks additional classes for those who may have missed a class.
WHAT SHOES SHOULD I WEAR?
Definitely do not bring sneakers! Ideally some suede shoes or shoes that have a smooth surface. No pointy high heels for the ladies.
